- They would describe me as a good teammate and someone who brings energy.

- My ability to shoot and my ability to control the team and make my teammates better.

- Lifting weights

- Definitely statistics

- The coach that I look up to as a role model is coach Rod and another one is coach Almamy Thiero because he coached me my whole life.

- I just lock in and listen to music and do ball handling

- Gianni Messner because he is an elite passer and gets everyone involved

1. How would your coaches and teammates describe you?
- I think my coaches would describe me as coachable and teammates would describe me as hard working.
2. What makes you a good player? What are the strengthens in your game?
- I think my ability to rebound and finish really stand out in my game. I also think that my defense is one of my greatest strengths.
3. What are your hobbies or interest outside of sports?
- Usually outside of sports I am hanging out with my friends and family. I like to read and play basketball with my little sister.
4. What is the toughest class on your schedule this semester?
- My toughest class this year would probably be chemistry.
5. Is there a coach that you look up to as a role model and why?
- I look up to my old coach from middle school and aau. His name is Jamie Paul. He helped my improve my game and take it to the next level. He always believed in me and I wouldn’t be the player I am today without him.

- My top 5 priorities would be my family, school, basketball, friends and the recruiting process.
7. Do you have any secret talent?
- One of my secret talents is being able to spin a basketball on all of my fingers.
8. What does your daily routine look like?
- A daily routine for me would be waking up and going to school, basketball practice for a few hours after school, then i go home and do some homework until about 10. Then I go to bed and repeat.
9. What are your preferred pre-game locker room routines?
- Before games me and my teammates pregame ritual is to listen to music and get hype.
10. What is your favorite song or musician to listen before games?
- I like to listen to Knife Talk by Drake and Only by Nicki Minaj before game time.

- My favorite pizza place is the Pizzaria.

- My favorite wings are from the Roadside
13. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
- In ten years, I see myself with a college degree and a job. I hope that I will be starting a family at that time.
14. Who is the most underrated player on your team?
- The most underrated player on the team would probably be Bella Yancy. She’s really stepped up this year and is playing a big part on varsity.
15. Who is the funniest player on your team?
- I think the funniest player on the team would be Sarai Weaver or Kali Allensworth. They’re always cracking jokes and making everyone laugh.
Jayden Davis – 2025 – Chartiers Valley High School - @bjay030
1. How would your coaches and teammates describe you?
- My teammates and coaches would describe me as passionate, hard-working, caring, and a dawg.
2. What makes you a good player? What are the strengthens in your game?
- My work ethic and my mindset separate me from others I feel. My mid-range and creative finishes around the rim are my strengths.
3. What are your hobbies or interests outside of sports?
- Outside of basketball, I normally like to spend time with my friends go to top golf or go out to eat for a sport game.
4. What is the toughest classes on your schedule this semester?
- This semester Chem and Honors English have to be the toughest by far, but i still enjoy English class.
5. Is there a coach that you look up to as a role model and why?
- I look up to my old North Coast Blue Chips coach, Coach Chris. This is because he looked at us as one of his own children, now that’s a coach i think. I believe this was 4 or 5 years and still to this day he sends out text to our whole team and wishing us happy holidays.
6. Rank the top five priorities currently in your life.
- God, Family, School, Basketball, and family again.
7. Do you have any secret talent?
- Yes, my secret talent is cooking. My family gives compliments on my cooking when I cook food every once in awhile.
8. What does your daily routine look like?
- School, basketball, homework, friend and family time if time left, bedtime; Pretty consistent during basketball season
9. What are your preferred pre-game locker room routines?
- First, I like to get a nice stretch. Then, the whole team starts blasting the speakers and after we pray. Lastly, right before we go out, I do a dribble and pass drill with my teammate, Rudy.
10. What is your favorite song or musician to listen to before games?
- I like to listen to Future before games.
11. Who has the best Pizza in Western, PA?
- Fiori’s is the best pizza, no doubt about it.
12. Who has the best chicken wings in Western, PA?
- I say it’s up in the air between Big Shot Bob’s or Buffalo Wild Wings. Both are very good places to get chicken wings.
13. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
- I see myself in 10 years with a home and family, hopefully living a successful and healthy life.
14. Who is the most underrated player on your team and why?
- I have to say Gionni Jones is the most underrated player on the team because no one seems to respect or realize his physicality throughout the game against opposing big man.
15. Who is the funniest player on your team?
- I have to give it to Rudy because he’s constant entertainment no matter where we are or the situation. Rudy will can make the whole team laugh at anytime.
