Pittsburgh Steelers great Franco Harris passed away last week, only days before the team was set to retire his number and honor him.

The NFL Network was on the broadcast for Saturday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders and the Steelers had put together a Franco Harris tribute for halftime.
It was also set to honor Harris’ famed “Immaculate Reception” which was reaching its 50th anniversary.
The ceremony had been teased leading up to the game by NFL Network and multiple other networks, honoring the Hall of Famer’s 12-year stay with Pittsburgh and retiring his No. 32.
It started with Team President, Art Rooney II, announcing the number retirement and the team had prepared a video tribute for the late Harris.
But instead, viewers at home witnessed NFL Network cut to commercial when Harris’ video tribute started to play at Acrisure Stadium.
Many fans took up to social media to air their frustration.
