No line on Steelers/Cowboys yet, but expect big number

Kraig Riley says take the Steelers at 14.5 or lower

The Steelers are the lone undefeated team in the league and getting the respect they deserve.

If you followed along last week, we talked about betting the Steelers early when the line opens.  If you did that last week, you got the Steelers at +5.5 and had an easy win.

This week that may not be possible.

With the Steelers traveling to Dallas and the Cowboys looking terrible on Sunday Night Football against the Eagles, the sportsbooks aren't quite ready to set a line yet.

A lot of that probably has to do with who the Cowboys have under center.
Pittsburgh native and Pine Richland graduate Ben DiNucci got the start for the Cowboys and it didn't go well.

DiNucci was 21-of-40 for just 180 yards and lost two fumbles.  Because of his play, there has to be some uncertainty about whether or not he'll get the start next week against the Steelers.

Until that situation is cleared up, I wouldn't expect a line on this game, but I can also tell you this, it's going to have to be a BIG number for me to not bet it.

The Cowboys were 10-points underdogs to the Eagles and I could see the Steelers being in the ballpark of 14.5 favorites this week.  That is a monster number that is difficult to cover in the NFL, but I'll take it and anything under it.
