New York Governor Kathy Hochul sent out a video on Thursday evening warning the public about a serious winter storm coming to the state this weekend.
During that video, Hochul expressed the seriousness of the storm saying 18 inches of snow, temps near zero and wind guests of 70 miles per hour are possible.
Hochul wants people to get ready for the poor conditions and had a message for Steelers fans.
“One final bit of advice, this one’s for our friends thinking about traveling from Pittsburgh to watch the game, we think it’s just better if you stay home and tune in on television, it will be safer for all of us,” said Hochul.
But, she had to throw in one dig before signing off.
“It’s going to be a rough game for you anyhow.”
We’ll see about that.
