PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – With a game again Thursday night, Steelers quarterback Kenny Pickett knocked out of the Jaguars game with a rib injury.
On one of the last plays of the first-half, Pickett injured his rib as he was brought to the ground. Initially thought he would return, Pickett came out after halftime and warmed up. It was then determined he couldn't go in the second half as Mitch Trubisky took over.
Pickett was 10-16 for 73 yards in the first half against Jacksonville and 112-184 for 1257 yards with five touchdowns and four interceptions in his second NFL season. Steelers lost defensive leader Minkah Fitzpatrick to a hamstring injury in the first half. Steelers home to Tennessee Thursday night.
