Pirates games to start earlier throughout entire 2024 season

7:05 p.m. start times at PNC Park are a thing of the past.

The Pittsburgh Pirates announced the start times for their 2024 games.

A majority of weekday games will start at 6:40 throughout the entire season.

Over the past few seasons, home games in April, May and September started at 6:40 to allow more kids to attend games while still in school.

Before the All-Star Break, Saturday home games will begin at 4:05, after the break start times will be at 6:05 with the exception of August 17 against the Seattle Mariners. That will be a 1:05 start.

Sunday home games will continue to begin at 1:35.

Get away travel games to end a series during the week will still start at 12:35. There are 12 of those throughout the season

93.7 The Fan is your home for every game with the exception of 12:35 weekday games. Those air on brother station 100.1 FM and AM 1020 KDKA.

Single game tickets to the public go on sale Friday, December 1.

After a trip to Miami and Washington, The Pirates home opener is April 5 against the Baltimore Orioles.
