The Pirates have reportedly signed an international free agent pitcher.

Latin American MLB writer Francys Romero reports right-handed Cuban pitcher Enmanuel Chapman signed with the Pirates, pending a physical.

He reportedly gets a $200,000 bonus.

“Chapman has a solid fastball between 93-98 MPH. He left Cuba in April 2023. No family relationship with Aroldis Chapman,” said Romero.

No other stats were readily available for Chapman.

He adds Chapman is the 33rd Cuban-born international player to sign during this current period.
