“Where’s my Primanti Brothers?”

Troy Polamalu and his family are enjoying retired life in the San Diego area but tells Andrew Stockey of WTAE that his heart is in Pittsburgh.

The soon-to-be inducted Hall of Famer tells Stockey his kids already want to move back to Pittsburgh.

“They’re Yinzers, they already want to move back,” said Polamalu. “What do you expect, one of them is like a true Yinzer, he’s like miserable, wakes up miserable, that’s what a Yinzer would do, a Yinzer would wake up and see blue sky and be like ‘it’s miserable outside, I’m staying inside, this weather sucks. . . I’m not going to the beach it’s too hot out there.’”

Polamalu moved to the West Coash about three years ago with his family, but he and his wife Theodora continue to be involved in several charities around the Pittsburgh area.

Polamalu will be inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio on August 7.

His former defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau will be the one to induct him.
