The Steelers could potentially lose one of their long-time offensive lineman to a hated rival.

According to the NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Alejandro Villanueva is meeting with the Baltimore Ravens sometime this week.

“Villanueva is set to visit the Ravens this week, league source said. With some moving parts on Baltimore’s O-line, they plan to check out Villanueva in person,” said Rapoport.

The former Army Ranger has started every game for five consecutive seasons at left tackle and 90 games in all.

An undrafted tight end out of the United States Military Academy, Villanueva signed with the Steelers in 2014 after a previous opportunity with Philadelphia.

The 6’9”, 320 pound Mississippi native was selected to a pair of Pro Bowls (2017, 2018).

It was reported late last month that Villanueva had put his Pittsburgh house on the market.

While the Steelers would likely want to re-sign Villanueva, he’s reportedly looking for money that the Steelers just don’t have under the current salary cap.
