PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – It led to a two-game NFL suspension, but nothing else will come of Steelers receiver DK Metcalf’s interaction with a fan in Detroit in December.
The Wayne County, Michigan prosecutor’s office told the Detroit Free Press that no charges will be filed against Metcalf. The quote from Wayne County Prosecutor Kym Worthy’s office on Friday per the Free Press.
“The fan did not appear to be injured, nor did he seek medical attention at the game.”
Metcalf missed the last two regular season games of 2025 and $555,000 in fines ‘for conduct detrimental to the NFL for initiating a physical confrontation with a fan’. The conduct also voided $45 million in future guaranteed money per his contract, although the Steelers are not likely to exercise that option.
