While Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger wasn’t exactly a world beater in Week One against the Buffalo Bills, he did enough to get the job done.

Roethlisberger went 18 for 32 for 188 yards one touchdown and zero interceptions for a passer rating of 83.9.

Now compare those okay stats to Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers who went 15 for 28 for 133 with zero touchdowns and two picks for a passer rating of 36.8

And yet! Pro Football Focus rated Roethlisberger the worst quarterback in Week One.

PFF gave Rodgers a 43.3 rating, while Roethlisberger was rated 38.0.

I’m not here to say that Roethlisberger is a better overall quarterback compared to the NFL’s reigning MVP, it was just one game.

But in that one game, Roethlisberger clearly deserved a better grade, at least better and Rodgers.
