While fans are going to allowed back in the stands at Heinz Field this Sunday, it won’t be as many as you think.

In a statement released by Steelers president Art Rooney II on Tuesday, he says the total of 7,500 people also includes the players coaches, stadium staff and more.

That leaves around 5,500 tickets for fans in the lower seating bowl.

Priority will be given to season ticket holders who decided not to opt out.

Who has access to tickets will be selected at random and Rooney says there may not be enough tickets for all season ticket holders.

Fans who are able to attend will be required to wear a face covering and will have to maintain social distancing protocols.

Tailgating outside of the stadium will not be permitted.

“We look forward to hopefully having more fans soon while still maintaining a safe and healthy environment at Heinz Field,” said Rooney.
