PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Tackle Dylan Cook added to the active roster on Wednesday a few days after making his NFL debut in relief of Andrus Peat. This comes as veteran Calvin Anderson, already ruled out for Monday, was placed on the Reserve/Injured list. Sunday's starting tackle, Andrus Peat is currently in concussion protocol.

Steelers also signed a tackle to the practice squad, 30-year-old David Sharpe. A fourth-round pick by the Raiders in 2017, Sharpe has played in 46 career games with six starts. He did start a game for the Chargers this year before being released on December 2. The 6’6”, 343-pounder also played for the Ravens, Carolina, Raiders Washington and Panthers.

Steelers released running back Trey Sermon from the practice squad.
