PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – With veteran Elandon Roberts a free agent, the Steelers already restructured the contract of linebacker Cole Holcomb and then Monday agreed to a two-year, $10 million contract with Ravens middle linebacker Malik Harrison according to Brooke Pryor of ESPN.

It’s the second consecutive year the Steelers added an inside backer from Baltimore,(he has also played outside linebacker). Harrison turned 27-years-old last week and has played in 76 career NFL games with 34 starts, seven this year. The third-round pick in 2020 from Ohio State had 54 tackles (22 solo), two sacks and three tackles for loss. Harrison, 6’3”, 255 pounds, played 38% of the defensive snaps, but a career-high 81% of the special teams snaps.

These moves most likely mean Roberts will not return for a third season with the Steelers. He had expressed a desire to finish his career in Pittsburgh.
