PITTSBURGH (93.7 the Fan) The Pittsburgh Steelers may have started their season 1-1, but the offense has been flat, even before the new year kicked off.

It’s been 11 games since the Steelers offense has scored a touchdown in the first quarter.

The last time the Steelers offense scored a first quarter touchdown was the Week 10 tie with the Detroit Lions.

With an extremely predictable and boring offense, there have been rumblings a change is coming.

93.7 the Fan’s Andrew Fillipponi says that there is growing frustration within the Steelers organization with offensive coordinator Matt Canada.

While nothing is certain yet, there is an option for a replacement already on the sideline.

Quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan was an offensive coordinator with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2012-2014 and with the New York Giants in 2016-2017.

The move to fire Canada midseason unlikely since Mike Tomlin has never lost a coordinator mid-season, but like Fillipponi says, it’s something to monitor.
