Another Steelers free agent is heading down south to Tennessee.

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport says that outside Ola Adeniyi (linebacker/special teams) has signed a one-year deal with the Titans.

Free agent linebacker Bud Dupree signed a deal with the Titans last week, a five-year deal worth $82.5 million.

Part of a trio of undrafted MAC linebackers who were in need of a contract.  Adeniyi played in 15 games in 2020 starting one at outside linebacker.

He played a career-high of 14 percent of the defensive snaps and played in 283 special teams snaps registering 16 total tackles with a forced fumble and tackle for loss.

Adeniyi has been durable since an injury his rookie season in 2018.

With the exception of the three forced fumbles on special teams, has never made a splash play when given the opportunity on defense.

Retired Steelers guard Ramon Foster, who now does a morning radio show in Nashville, says the Titans “got a sneaky beast” with Adeniyi.
