The Steelers have announced the release of DeMarvin Leal.
The defensive lineman was the Steelers' 3rd-round pick in 2022 out of Texas A&M.
Leal had six starts over 31 games during his career with no starts over the past two seasons.
He appeared in three games for the Steelers this season, playing on 17 defensive snaps and nine on special teams.
Leal was cut by the Steelers to start the 2025 season but was promoted to the active roster in mid-September.
