The Steelers have reportedly added to their secondary in the second day of NFL free agency.
According to NFL Insider Jordan Schultz, the Steelers are signing safety free agent DeShon Elliott.
The deal is reportedly worth $6 million over 2 years.
Schultz was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft.
He broke his forearm before the start of his rookie season and only played in six games with a knee injury in 2019.
He started in all sixteen games in 2020 and had four passes defended, two forced fumbles and 2 and a half sacks.
He played one year with Detroit in 2022 and played last season with Miami.
Schultz adds depth to the safety room with Minkah Fitzpatrick and Damontae Kazee.
