In an interesting move, the Steelers have signed a quarterback to their practice squad.

James Morgan, who was taken in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the New York Jets signed on Monday afternoon.
Morgan spent last season on the Jets 53-man roster but was not activated for any games.
Morgan was released earlier this season by New York and also spent time with the Carolina Panthers.
To make room for Morgan, the Steelers cut nose tackle Isaiah Mack from the practice squad.
While signing a quarterback to the practice squad is surprising, the move is likely an insurance policy, with Ben Roethlisberger still on the Reserve/COVID list.
Moran is also similarly built to the Steelers next quarterback opponent Justin Herbert, who is 6-foot-6-inches and 240 pounds.
Morgan is 6-foot-4-inchs and 229 pounds.
The Steelers also officially place safety Minkah Fitzpatrick on their Reserve/COVID list.
