PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – Along with the regular schedule, the NFL also announced the Steelers preseason schedule and it starts with a crazy home game on Thursday, August 13 at 7p.
Steelers will host the Green Bay Packers in Mike McCarthy’s first game as Steelers head coach. Of course, McCarthy lead the Packers over the Steelers in Super Bowl XLV and coached at Green Bay for 13 years going 204-125. And if Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback it should be a fun first game on KDKA-TV.
As if the NFL is anticipating Rodgers return, the other team the 42-year-old played for, the New York Jets, is the second preseason game, Friday, August 21 at 7p, also at Acrisure Stadium.
Steelers won’t conclude the preseason with Carolina, rather at the Buffalo Bills in their new stadium in Orchard Park, NY on Thursday, August 27 at 7p.
Memorable games against every Steelers opponent in 2026
All three games will be broadcast on KDKA-TV with Bob Pompeani doing the play-by-play.
