The Steelers traded up to get the offensive lineman they wanted.

In a deal with New England, the Steelers traded up to get Georgia offensive tackle Broderick Jones at pick 14.

The Steelers gave the Patriots the 17th overall pick and also gave New England the 120th overall pick.

Jones was a 2022 first-team All-SEC selection and didn’t allow a single sack last season.

The Steelers got a tackle that will help protect quarterback Kenny Pickett and running back Najee Harris.
