The Watt brothers, well two of them, are going to be featured on a box of Wheaties.

Steelers linebacker T.J. Watt announced the partnership on social media Tuesday saying of the honor “it’s something you can’t even dream about as a kid.”

On its website, Wheaties said the brother made history “on September 27, 2020 when they all played in the same again, along with their brother, Derek.”

In a release, Wheaties says it’s the first time a duo to be featured on a box since 1934. I’m not sure how true that is though, since Mario Lemieux and Jaromir Jagr were featured on a box in 1992.

“It is a childhood dream come true to be on the next Wheaties box,” J.J. and T.J. said.
“To be included among the incredible roster of athletes who have been featured over the years is a true honor. We hope this box is a reminder for athletes and people everywhere to persevere – on the field and in life – and always champion what you’re passionate about.”

J.J. retired after this past season. During his prime, he won three Defensive Player of the Year awards.

T.J. won the DPOY in 2021.
