It all came down to the final week of the NFL season as the Pittsburgh Steelers took on the Cleveland Browns at Acrisure Stadium on Sunday.

The Steelers started their afternoon with a long drive making it all the way to the endzone, only to fumble it at the 1-yard line on Najee Harris’ attempt to go up and over the Browns defense.

The Browns weren’t able to get anything cooking off the fumble as the defense was able to make up for it, getting the ball back into Steeler hands.

The Steelers almost fumbled on their next possession, but the officials ruled the pass on the play to Diontae Johnson incomplete.

The scoreless first quarter ended with a sack on Watson from T.J. Watt and Cam Heyward. Kenny Pickett got off to a slow start only hitting 1/5 pass attempts.

It was more of the same from both sides to start the second quarter. The Browns were the first to breakthrough as Watson was elusive against the Steelers pass rush, he connected with David Njoku for a 7-0 lead.

Pickett and the offense woke up, responding with a touchdown of their own on a deep 31-yard pass to George Pickens to tie the game at 7-7 just before the half.

This ignited the Steelers wake up as they began to turn it on the rest of the game. Levi Wallace almost immediately picked off Watson on the next drive to set up another scoring Steelers drive.

Chris Boswell hit a 49-yard field goal attempt to give Pittsburgh their first lead of the game at 10-7 to go into halftime.

They kept clicking on their opening drive of the second half, getting Boswell another opportunity to knock down a 34-yard attempt this time, making it 13-7.

The defense figured out the Browns offense as they intercepted again through Damontae Kazee. Najee Harris scored on the next possession punching it in to make it 20-7 Steelers.

The Browns showed signs of life to start the fourth quarter as Watson hit Nick Chubb for a TD, only for the Steelers to respond yet again with Derek Watt getting in on the action and Pickett converting the 2-point attempt.

It all ended with a final score of 28-14, securing another winning season for Mike Tomlin and the Steelers at 9-8.
