Tomlin: DeCastro will practice this week, could start Sunday

The Pro Bowl guard has been out the past four weeks with a knee injury

The Steelers could be getting back a Pro Bowl guard for their game against the Houston Texans this Sunday.

During his weekly press conference on Tuesday, head coach Mike Tomlin indicated that David DeCastro will return to the practice and if all goes well, could start on Sunday.

DeCastro has not practiced at all thus far during the regular season and missed the last two weeks of training camp with a reported knee injury.

Both Stefen Wisniewski and rookie Kevin Dotson filled in for DeCastro in the first two games of the season, with Wisniewski suffering a chest injury in the opening game against the Giants.

Tomlin also announced nose tackle Tyson Alualu is dealing with a knee contusion, linebacker Bud Dupree with a shoulder and wide receiver Dionte Johnson with a toe.

Their participation in practice preparing for Houston could be limited.
