Former Cincinnati Bengals linebacker Vontaze Burfict says he wasn’t a dirty player, most of the time.

Streaming Madden 24 with online video game streamer “Sketch” recently, Burfict admitted he would hit Steelers players after the play because he simply hates Pittsburgh.

“I didn’t hit people after the play all the time, Sketch, just the Steelers, f**k the Steelers,” Burfict said the stream.

Of course, Burfict has been suspended a few times during his playing days.

His first suspension came with a helmet-to-helmet hit to Antonio Brown during a wild card game against the Steelers during the 2015 season.

He was suspended for the first three games of the 2016 season and Brown was knocked out of the game the next week.

Burfict avoided a suspension in 2017 after he kicked Steelers fullback Roosevelt Nix.

One of the greatest moments in the history of JuJu Smith-Schuster in a Steelers uniform didn’t come from a catch, but rather, when he dished out some justice, with a hit to Burfict, with a taunt after.

In total, Burfict was suspended, fined or ejected from a game five times during his career.

Most of those suspensions didn’t come against the Steelers, showing he played dirty against pretty much everyone.
