PITTSBURGH (93.7 The Fan) – TJ Watt appeared in a social media post by the Steelers, but did not practice on Thursday as the team has one practice left before leaving for Detroit. Watt wasn’t the only key player unable to practice.
Outside linebacker Nick Herbig was unable to go which would move rookie Jack Sawyer into a likely starting role if Herbig can’t play with his hamstring injury. Corner James Pierre (calf) was at practice but did not work. Offensive lineman Andrus Peat continues to progress from his concussion. He was limited again on Thursday. Guard Isaac Seumalo (triceps) did not practice. Same with center Zach Frazier (triceps), who did practice full on Wednesday
There is a question if Peat comes back, if he returns as the starting tackle or if they likely remain with Dylan Cook there and could move Peat to guard if Seumalo can’t go.
