The Steelers most important player says he’s blown away that some of the other players on the team don’t want to practice and Mike Tomlin’s message isn’t coming through.

T.J. Watt told Rich Eisen of NFL Network and the Rich Eisen show that he doesn’t understand why some of his teammates are not responding to Head Coach Mike Tomlin.

Watt told Eisen (who called the game) before the Steelers loss to Indianapolis on Saturday that some of his teammates don’t want to practice, even though Tomlin is coaching up his players

“It’s wild to him that some of the player upon hearing that don’t respond in a way on the field or on a practice field, he used that word ‘wild’ and that some of them don’t want to practice,” Eisen said on his show earlier this week.

“It’s time,” said Adam Crowley talking about Tomlin.

Crowley, along with Dorin Dickerson talked about it on The Fan Morning Show Wednesday.

The both acknowledge that the “me, me, me” attitude is not new with players coming up into the league, but other teams also have players with similar attitudes and are able to win.

“It might not be all his fault, but it’s happening under his watch,” said Crowley.

Dickerson said it’s on Tomlin, who he believes is being too lax with his younger players and needs to start benching those who aren’t performing or listening.
