The path to Pickett just got a little bit more possible for Pittsburgh.
Washington has their quarterback after deal with Indianapolis sent Carson Wentz to the Commanders with the Colts getting draft picks.
A lot of mock drafts had Pickett going to Washington.
They now won’t be picking a quarterback with their draft pick at #11.
Another possible Pickett destination, Denver, is out after they traded with Seattle to get Russell Wilson.
The Broncos’ #9 pick now goes to the Seahawks and they reportedly could be interested in Malik Willis.
While there is no guarantee that Pickett will be available at #20, with teams like Carolina (#6) and New Orleans (#18) just a couple teams that could be looking for a QB.
Other teams that could be in the market for a QB picking before the Steelers include the Detroit Lions (#2) and Houston Texans (3).
If Pickett makes it past the sixth pick and the Steelers really want Pickett, they'll only have to trade up one spot to get him most likely.
If you’re a Pickett to Pittsburgh fan, this is a good day for you.
