Each and every year that we get to do this, it would never be possible without YOU, our dedicated and generous listeners! Thank you for sending in checks, gift cards, and cash for this beautiful family. Even though the circumstances of our deserving recipient Tawnee and her children have been grim, we've been honored to be able to join together as a community to provide her and her kids a better and more full Christmas during this tough year.
Presenting Tawnee with all of the checks and gift cards was incredible, but equally as beautiful was watching her children open presents from Santa. In addition to the gift cards, checks and cash from all of you, we would love to thank Albertsons, Vons, & Pavilions, Skechers, Big Brand Tire & Service, Laugh Factory, & Hermosa Cyclery for all of their donations to our Knock Knock Family!
The K-Earth Morning Show would also like to give a huge shout out to Gia for nominating our recipient, Tawnee Lopez! Without her message and entry, we wouldn't have been able to put all of this together. Thank you Gia, for wanting to share Tawnee's story and allowing us to give her and her kids a Merrier Christmas!
The best part of the Knock Knock It's Christmas experience is banding together as one and reminding each other that community is out there and that we can all do a little to help someone a lot. Each of you that took time to text in, call in, and/or made a donation, made an impact on Tawnee's life this year, and we can never thank you enough.
All of our wonderful listeners came together and donated THOUSANDS of dollars, sentimental letters, and spent time listening, in order to help Tawnee and her family to have a brighter holiday season.
The final count this year came out to over $15,000 in cash, checks, gift cards, and donations.
Tawnee and her children's 2025 Christmas will hopefully help bring them some lightness into an otherwise dark year, and it's all thanks to you!
