Authorities Wednesday are investigating the fatal shootings of two men in the Vermont-Vista area that police say may be gang-related.

The shootings were reported at 9:50 p.m. Tuesday and officers from the Los Angeles Police Department's Newton Division responded to a smoke shop at 8651 Figueroa St. near Manchester Avenue.
When they arrived, witnesses told them the victims were inside the shop and they were approached by two men in their 20s who opened fire and shot the victims multiple times before leaving, an LAPD spokesman told City News Service.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were contacted and pronounced the victims dead at the scene.
