Two men, allegedly tied to a transnational jewelry theft ring that is accused of stealing millions of dollars, were arrested.
The thefts happened over the last eight years. KNX News’ Pete Demetriou reported Constantin Totoi and European Muntaneu are allegedly tied to a $250,000 theft in Los Angeles in December.
The men are accused of going into high-end jewelry stores, flashing large amounts of cash, and asking to see valuable items, and while the salesperson is distracted, stealing at least one high-end piece of jewelry or a watch.
