The first burglary happened early Sunday morning at Simi Sportscards. Store owner Jake Miller told KTLA that the suspects broke into the store and stole some rare Pokémon and sports trading cards, noting that it was a $50,000 loss for the store.

On Sunday night, police responded to an armed robbery at RWT Collective in Sawtelle. A customer was stopped by two men -- and one of them had a gun -- as they were leaving for the night. The thieves made off with a case of cards from the trunk of one of the customer's cars.

The cards were worth $300,000, according to NBC 4.

Last month, the LAPD says businesses in Woodland Hills, Glendale, and Burbank. Total losses in those cases are over $200,000
