
Three pedestrians are in critical condition Friday, injured while crossing the street in the Westlake District and being struck by a vehicle, police said Friday.
Los Angeles Police Department officers from the department's Rampart Division responded to the intersection of Sixth and Alvarado streets at 11 p.m. Thursday when they learned the victims were walking across Alvarado when the vehicle hit them, ABC 7 reported.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel were contacted and took the victims to a hospital.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is cooperating with police, according to ABC 7.
