Police arrested a man who they say is tied to roughly 25 burglaries throughout the city, including the San Fernando Valley.
Kevin Diaz, 22, was caught breaking into a Beverlywood home on Monday night, according to KTLA. Surveillance cameras picked him up breaking a sliding glass door. The person inside the home locked themselves in a bathroom for safety and called 911.
Officers chased the Diaz down and took him into custody. Detectives connected the man to many break-ins, 14 of which were in the Valley.
The crimes spanned several police divisions, including West L.A., Olympics, Southwest, Devonshire, Mission, and West Valley.
Diaz’s bail was set for $50,000.
