The Federal Aviation Administration, along with other law enforcement agencies, says it's establishing ‘No Drone Zones’ over SoFi and other stadiums hosting FIFA World Cup 2026 matches to help protect participants and spectators.

In Los Angeles, the flight restrictions will apply at SoFi on the following days:

  • June 12th
  • June 15th
  • June18th
  • June 21st
  • June 25th
  • June 28th

Flight restrictions will apply to the L.A. Memorial Coliseum from June 10th through the 15th.

In a press briefing held last week, FBI Assistant Director in Charge Patrick Grandy said that any drone operator who enters a “restricted airspace without authorization may face fines up to $100,000.”
