Ben Affleck, Mahershala Ali, Ryan Coogler, Bradley Cooper and Phylicia Rashad are among the presenters who will take part in the 39th American Cinematheque Awards next month honoring Michael B. Jordan, who will receive the American Cinematheque Award, the film-preservation organization announced Friday.

Other presenters include Daniel Kaluuya, Delroy Lindo, Octavia Spencer, Tessa Thompson and Irwin Winkler, the organization stated. Donna Langley will present the Motion Picture Association's Charles H. Rivkin with The Power of Cinema Award.
The ceremony will take place Nov. 20 at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills and will feature a musical performance by Miles Caton, Ludwig Goransson and Raphael Saadiq, performing "I Lied to You" from the film "Sinners."
Jordan's honor follows his recent acclaimed performance as twin brothers Smoke and Stack in Ryan Coogler's "Sinners," a critical and box office success earlier this year.
The annual gala serves as a fundraiser for the American Cinematheque, which operates the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica, the Los Feliz 3 Theatre in Los Feliz and the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood.
Previous American Cinematheque Award recipients include Eddie Murphy, Steven Spielberg, Julia Roberts, Denzel Washington, Amy Adams, Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Chastain.
The Power of Cinema Award recognizes individuals or organizations whose storytelling advances the cultural and social relevance of film, organizers stated. Past recipients include Charles Roven, Jason Blum and Blumhouse, Sue Kroll and Jeffrey Katzenberg.
