Bernie Sanders reelected to U.S. Senate representing Vermont

Political icon Bernie Sanders has won reelection to the U.S. Senate, representing Vermont for a fourth term.

According to the 83-year-old Independent, the 2024 election will be one of the most consequential in his lifetime, and democracy is at risk.

He sought the Democratic presidential nomination in 2016 and 2020 but endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris this year after President Joe Biden dropped out of the race. KNX News declared Sanders the winner a little after 4:00 p.m. PST.
