A death investigation is underway in Santa Monica, police said.
The investigation is taking place near 15th Street and Santa Monica Boulevard, according to the Santa Monica Police Department.
Officers said 15th Street would be closed between Santa Monica Boulevard and Broadway.
"We ask that you stay away from the area as we continue to collect evidence," police said
As of 1:45 PM, information on the victim has not been made available.
