A motorist was arrested following a brief chase Monday in a reported stolen vehicle, which crashed into a residence in the Jefferson Park area and caught fire.
The crash was reported about 9:45 a.m. at Ninth Avenue and Obama Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. No injuries were reported.

The name of the suspect was not immediately available.
