Downtown shooting wounds four, leaves one in critical condition

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - One person is in critical condition today after being shot during an argument outside a CVS Pharmacy in downtown Los Angeles.

Los Angeles Police Department officers were called at 9:35 p.m. Thursday to Seventh and Spring streets, south of Pershing Square, on a shots fired call and when they arrived they found two men and a woman with gunshot wounds, Officer Annie Hernandez told City News Service.

A third man who was shot ran to Sixth Street and called police, NBC 4 reported.

Witnesses told police two men ran from the scene after the shooting.

One of the victims is in critical condition, according to broadcast reports.

Fox 11 reported there was a verbal altercation between one of the shooters and the victims prior to the shooting.

Two of the victims were taken to a hospital in unknown conditions and the victim who made the call to police declined treatment.
