
An attic fire damaged a Tarzana building housing a jewelry store Thursday, but no one was hurt.

Firefighters were sent to the single-story building in the 19000 block of West Ventura Boulevard at 7:47 a.m. extinguished the flames in 20 minutes, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The cause of the fire was under investigation.
