Here are 10 Black Friday promotions you need to know about

It’s Black Friday – one of the biggest sale days of the year in the U.S. – and data shows that consumers are especially interested in finding great deals heading into this holiday season.

While Black Friday comes with opportunities to save money while shopping for holiday presents, appliances and more, it can be overwhelming to sift through all the offers. Arriving at a busy mall without a game plan can make shoppers’ heads spin. When Cyber Monday rolls around, it can be even harder to go through all the deals online.

So, Audacy found some key offers that shoppers shouldn’t miss. There are certainly more out there, but here’s a list of 10 to start with:

Target:

Through Nov. 30, Target is offering up to 50% off tech, apparel, video games, board games, small appliances, luggage, holiday trees and more. Target also has an exclusive offer with Taylor Swift for the “Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour Book” and other merchandise – perfect options for those looking to get Swifties gifts for the holidays.

Walmart:

Through Cyber Monday (Dec. 2), Walmart is offering a slew of deals, including discounts on appliances, brand-name jewelry, clothes, cookware, electronics, toys and more.

“Customers can rely on us to have a deep assortment of in-demand items across top gifting categories like fashion, electronics, beauty and toys including brands like Blackstone, Carote, Dyson, Michael Kors, Reebok and more,” said Latriece Watkins, executive vice president and chief merchandising officer, Walmart U.S., according to a press release.

Amazon:

Online retail giant Amazon is also offering deals through Dec. 2, with new deals dropping daily.

“Customers can shop millions of deals across more than 35 categories, including electronics, home, beauty, and fashion from popular brands like Sonos, Staub, Supergoop!, and Levi’s,” said a company press release. “Customers can also shop deals on some of the hottest toys of the season including from brands like Squishmallows, Furby, and Tonies; holiday must-haves like matching pajamas and festive apparel starting at $6; and wardrobe staples with up to 40% off on Amazon Essentials outerwear.”

Spirit Airlines:

Black Friday deals even extend to the skies. For example, Spirit Airlines announced its Black & Yellow Friday promotion this week, offering exclusive deals including flights starting as low as $25 one way.

“Spirit’s Black & Yellow Friday helps travelers lock in the major savings they’re looking for and start the new year with fun travel plans,” explained Senior Vice President and Chief Transformation Officer Rana Ghosh of Spirit Airlines.

LG:

Electronics can be pricey, so consumers often wait for Black Friday to get the best price on these household items. This year, LG is offering deals on TVs, laptops, 4K projectors and speakers. Some of these deals run through Dec. 2, but some are continuing deeper into December.

LG is also offering deals on appliances.

“Through Dec. 4, LG Electronics USA is offering hundreds of dollars in savings on top appliances and free installation on select LG refrigerators or laundry products,” said a press release from the company.

Best Buy:

Another place to get deals on things like electronics is Best Buy.

“You can expect Black Friday deals on everything from TVs and laptops to headphones and smart rings, electric scooters and more,” said the company. “”Plus, throughout the Black Friday Sale, we’ll have even more doorbusters on top tech and Flash Deals on Best Buy Drops.”

The Home Depot:

This year, the home improvement retailer is offering up to 40% off on appliances, tools, furniture, holiday decorations and more.

Ikea:

Ikea is already known for having reasonably-priced furniture, and this year it is offering up to 50% off items included in its “Ikea Winter Sale” running through Jan. 7.

Lovesac:

Select styles at Lovesac, a furniture retailer that specializes in high-end bean bag chairs as well as sectionals and furniture accessories, are 30% off through Dec. 8. Those who shop in store are invited to charge their phones when they visit.

“Utilizing the invisible wireless charging capabilities of StealthTech Sound + Charge, the latest Lovesac innovation allows customers to stay connected without leaving the comfort of their couch,” said the company. “Throughout this year's truncated holiday shopping season, Lovesac invites customers to recharge, literally and figuratively, with free device charging in all 300+ locations starting today through end of year.”
