What a wonderful Knock Knock It's Christmas on K-Earth 101!
First of all, thank YOU for sending in your checks, gift cards, and cash for this beautiful family! After receiving so many heartfelt nominations, and making a decision on which family to choose, Jessica and her 5 amazing daughters got the surprise Christmas gift of a lifetime! It's all thanks to YOU, the listeners of K-Earth 101... We couldn't do this without you!
After pretending we were Amazon delivery, we got Jessica to come open her door while the K-Earth Morning Crew and Santa waited! We presented them with all of the thoughtful cards, donations, and presents that were sent in by all of you.
Gathering up all the gifts, we were able to present each of the girls with multiple Squishmallows, plus new beanies, gloves, and shoes from Skechers! We also presented them with a 65" Vizio TV and Vizio Soundbar, courtesy of DTS Audio! Thank you to Angel City Football Club for donating a VIP experience including tickets in the Presidential Suite, transportation, food, drinks and more, a $3500 value! Thank you to Govee for donating boxes of Christmas lights to the family!
We also want to send a HUGE thanks Pink's Hot Dogs for donating a $2500 to the family, and The Laugh Factory for also donating $2000! Norms for donating a $500 gift card and Albertsons/Vons/Pavilions for donating $500 in gift cards.
The K-Earth Morning Show couldn't have put together all of these donations and gifts for Jessica and her daughter's, without Mr. Angulo! Alberto took his teaching duties a step further in trying to provide a better Christmas for Jessica. Thank you Alberto, for feeling compelled to share her story; allowing us to help her and her daughters this Christmas!
Every year, the best part of the whole Knock Knock It's Christmas experience is getting to come together as a community and help a deserving family in needs. It's all about each person putting in just a little bit to make a much larger impact in someone's life. All of YOU came together and donated THOUSANDS of dollars, beautifully written cards, and spent time listening, in order to help Jessica and her family to have a brighter and merrier Christmas.
The final count this year came out to over $21,000 in cash, checks, and donations, and we can't thank you enough!
Jessica and her daughter's 2024 Christmas is going to be a core memory for them and again, it's all thanks to you!
