L.A. County District Attorney’s Office employee detained by ICE, and DA Hochman is none too pleased: Report

An employee at the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office was detained by federal immigration agents on Friday, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The Times obtained an email that D.A. Nathan Hochman sent out to the office on Friday. Details regarding the detainment were limited, with Hochman saying the employee was “wrongfully detained” and that it was “unacceptable.”

Hochman went on to say he's complained to federal authorities about it, and asked them to make sure it never happens again

An official for the Department of Homeland Security told the outlet that ICE doesn't have any record of detaining anyone from the D.A.’s office.
