A man who had a loaded weapon in his car was arrested over the weekend after investigators with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said he was taking videos and photos at the Trump National Golf Club in Rancho Palos Verdes.
Jeanine John Taele, 38, was arrested on Saturday. Investigators say he was also carrying hollow-point ammunition in his pocket and additional weapons and body armor at his home, along with multiple notebooks containing concerning statements.
The arrest came days before President Trump’s appearance at the golf club for an RNC fundraiser.
