A man is in the hospital Wednesday after he was shot by two assailants in South Los Angeles.
Los Angeles Police Department officers were called to 11924 S. Main St. between Imperial Highway and East 119th Street at 11:26 p.m. Tuesday where they learned two men approached the victim and shot at him several times, an LAPD spokeswoman told City News Service.

The victim, who police say was uncooperative, was taken to a hospital in stable condition.
The suspects ran away from the scene in an unknown direction.
