A man who authorities say worked at a Valero gas station was fatally shot in Long Beach and detectives Wednesday are investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.
Long Beach Police Department officers received a 911 call around 10 p.m. Tuesday at 6944 Atlantic Avenue and upon their arrival, they found the victim suffering from gunshots wounds, ABC 7 reported.
The victim was taken to a hospital by Long Beach Fire Department paramedics, where he was later pronounced dead.
A witness told ABC 7 that he heard at least five gunshots at the gas station.
Police were seen searching a Nissan sedan for possible evidence outside the gas station.
There was no suspect description.
