
A man was stabbed in Long Beach and police are continuing their investigation of the stabbing Tuesday.
Long Beach Police Department officers were called to the area of Broadway and Falcon Avenue regarding a stabbing at 1:35 a.m. Monday, according to police. When they arrived, officers found the victim with a stab wound to the upper body.
According to the police department, the preliminary investigation showed an unknown man approached the victim and stabbed him.
Long Beach Fire Department personnel arrived and took the victim to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect fled the scene before the officers arrived.
The motive for the stabbing is unknown and the investigation is ongoing.
