New Hollywood Park & Ride location launches in Sylmar

The L.A. Philharmonic announced Monday that it has expanded its network of county Park & Ride locations where people can drop their vehicles and take a bus to the Hollywood Bowl.

The newest location, at the Sylmar Metrolink Station in the northeast San Fernando Valley, begins in time for the start of the Bowl's 2025 summer season.

The service operates on select concert nights. Riders can reserve spots in advance for $8. The cost of tickets on the day of at the lot is $12.

"This new service reflects our commitment to equity, sustainability and joy -- bringing music and performing arts closer for more Angelenos," said Los Angeles County Supervisor Lyndsey Horvath, whose district includes the Sylmar area.

Hollywood Bowl Park & Ride has about 15 locations throughout L.A. County. There are also free shuttles from locations closer to the venue.
