RIVERSIDE, Calif. (KNX) — A foster family in Perris is accused of abusing nine children, including five members of the Turpin family.

The suspects—62-year-old Marcelino Olguin, 57-year-old Rosa Olguin and 36-year-old Lennys Olguin—were arraigned Thursday in Riverside County Superior Court on multiple charges of physically and psychologically abusing children in their care, according to CBS News.

All three suspects face charges of false imprisonment and willful child cruelty. Additionally, Marcelino faces charges of lewd acts on a minor, including lewd acts on a minor younger than 14.

All three defendants pleaded not guilty and are free on bail, according to CBS L.A.

It’s been a never-ending nightmare for the Turpin siblings who were rescued from a tortuous home in Perris nearly four years ago.

The 13 siblings—who were imprisoned and tortured by their parents, some found chained to beds—claimed they were denied services as well as access to thousands of dollars raised for them in an ABC News report. Some of the siblings also alleged they had been placed in foster homes where other children said they had been abused, according to CBS L.A.

Last month, Riverside County announced it had hired a former federal judge to investigate services and treatment provided to the Turpin siblings following ABC’s report.
